Offer add-ons like gift wrapping, special messages or other special options for your products.
Allow sale price in add-ons
Other Add-on plugins have this feature. I need to be able to have add-ons have a regular and sale price.

Add-ons are not physical/standalone products, but product attributes/characteristics and therefore do not have a Regular/Sale price. Instead, they can be used to add extra fees to the parent product.
If you are looking to create a product configurator, where each option is a standalone product with its own Regular/Sale price, then I recommend using Composite Products instead: https://woocommerce.com/products/composite-products/.
Alternatively, you could use the “sale” price as the add-on price and mention in the add-on’s description that it is currently on sale.
