Brand attribute for variable products

Brands for variable products are not syncing with Google Merchant Centre even when the ‘Brand’ attribute is added. After exporting products to CSV, only some variable products have the brand attribute in the ‘Meta: _wc_gla_brand’ column and no variations have the brand attribute.
