You should send PDF invoices via email to make life easier for your customers. Logging into a website to get an invoice is a hassle, and makes it difficult to either a) have someone else do bookkeeping as they’d require the login or b) automate some bookkeeping tasks (e.g. gmail has an api which can be used to download attachments, which then can be used to upload to accounting software)
