I want an add on to be created as a seprate product
if i have leather sofa of $900 as a product and have different materials i can use for the same product like polyester/cotton whatever. but the customer does not want to buy the whole sofa they just want to buy the material.
How can i make that happen..

Product Add-Ons allows you to add customization options to your products. These options are product characteristics/attributes, like color or engraving, and not physical products from your store.
If you are looking to create a product configurator, where each option is a separate product, then I recommend using Composite Products: https://woocommerce.com/products/composite-products/ instead.
