Calculate batch code deduction from initial weight of batch

Hi Team,

Thank you for this plugin, it is a great service for food safety audits. However, it is still a lot of mental work to keep track of batch codes and amounts sold.

I would like to be able to enter the amount of weight that we receive with a batch. Say 20kg with batch code ‘xyz’. Then as variable amounts are sold, 1kg, 200g, 10g, the amounts are deducted from the initial total. This would prevent the wrong batch code being assigned to an oder if that batch is sold out overnight.

Additionally, being able to add or change a batch code on an order, and be able to track it, would be immensely beneficial. This would help businesses have more efficient recall should they need to contact a customer about their product (Food Audit requirements).

Thanks again,

Hi, first problem can be solved by using our Shared Variation Inventory plugin and Product Batch & Expiration Tracking plugin together. The second feature, we will consider developing it for future release. Thank you very much for your input. If you have any questions, please send an email to support@webis.ca.
