Understandably, it’s essential that some fields (such as billing address, payment options, email etc) are required; and WooCommerce obviously is taking responsibility by locking these blocks. However, by locking ALL blocks, you significantly decrease the ability customise the checkout experience – which is the whole purpose of the block editor.
By example – I want to move some of the blocks to a different, completely reasonable, order. This is not possible due to them being locked in place – at least don’t restrict movement?
As I say, I completely see the point in not allowing removal of certain blocks, and restricting the movement of some, however restricting all blocks goes against the whole purpose of the block editor – to allow more customisation.
Please consider this as something to improve.
