Feature Request: Additional Sorting Options for WooCommerce All Products

Over the years, clients have asked for custom features like sorting products alphabetically. This usually requires adding custom functions to extend the default options. Notably, the new sort options available with the Product Collections block are a great addition. Including these options in the default All Products sort settings would be a huge time-saver. It would let merchants set their preferred sort options without needing to code, greatly enhancing the user experience.

Current Sorting Options:

• Default sorting (menu order)
• Popularity
• Average rating
• Latest
• Price: low to high
• Price: high to low

Requested Sorting Options:

• A → Z
• Z → A
• Newest to oldest
• Oldest to newest
• Best Selling
• Top Rated

Proposal:

1. Add these new sorting options to the WooCommerce All Products block and support their use in the default WooCommerce core.
2. Ensure compatibility with both block and classic editors, and various themes.

Additional Feature:

• Implement a settings page to allow users to select which sorting options to display in the drop-down menu, ensuring better user experience by avoiding an excess of choices.
