I migrated from BigCommerce. Their shipment tracking feature allowed you to tie a tracking number to an order item and generate an email with the tracking number automagically.
Right now, there’s no detail about which item shipped. So our staff have to manually send a note to the customer within Woo in addition to saving the tracking number with the order.
A simple solution would be a note field to manually add associate a product with a tracking number.
A better solution would be including a dropdown of the list of shippable items in the order and associate a tracking number with the item.
The plugin should also automatically send an order notification or at least provide that option through a setting so manual emails aren’t sent.
