Currently, WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin allows cancelled subscriptions (by customer in MyAccount) to be renewed, but it deletes discounts and coupons by default to protect against cancelled coupons etc., allowing the creation of the subscription at list prices only. If subscription discounts or coupons still apply in the website, this creates overcharged parent orders and subscription orders. The cancelled subscriptions should either be prevented from renewal (forcing the customer to place a new subscription with any valid discounts or coupons), OR, there should be an opt-in/opt-out choice in the global subscription settings and individual (per product) subscription settings that is checked or unchecked that confirms the website wants or does not want the original discounts and/or coupons to apply to renewal subscriptions of cancelled orders. This is not a problem with “pending” status (when a customer is cancelling) because renewing it from “pending” preserves the current pricing including any discounts and/or coupons.
