Hello,

We would like to request a new product status option in WooCommerce called “Archive”.
Currently, we have statuses like “Draft” and “On Hold”, but they are not suitable for our needs.

Here is our use case:

We sometimes need to temporarily remove certain products from the store without deleting them.

These products should not be visible in the shop, search results, or frontend, but we want to keep all product data for possible future reactivation.

“Draft” is not ideal, as it is typically used for incomplete or unpublished products.

“On Hold” is designed for orders, not for products.

The “Archive” status would allow us to cleanly separate such products, making it easier to manage and organize the catalog. It would be similar to the “Archived” feature in other platforms (e.g., Shopify), where products are hidden from the storefront but remain accessible in the admin panel for later use.

We believe this feature would be helpful for many WooCommerce store owners.
