Product Filters Block: respect specific attribute values order

The new Product Filters Block works really well, but it lacks something very important to me: The attribute filter subblock does not offer to sort in the specific order I determined when I created the values.

Why I need this: Some of my attribute values follow a certain, natural order that has nothing to do with the alphabet. It is about semantics, such as ordering clothing sizes from XS to XXL and not alphabetically.

What exactly would I like to see: In the editor on the right side where I configure the attribute filter, I would expect an additional value in the sort order dropdown: “custom order” (or something similar, I am not sure about the exact words because I use a translated version; I mean the same that I can choose as “standard sort order” in the attributes section.
