Currently, WooPayments displays the Apple Pay / Google Pay express checkout buttons at the top of the checkout form, above the contact fields.
However, for better UX and conversion design (especially when using plugins like Fluid Checkout), it would be much more logical to show these buttons below the order summary or below the “Place Order” button.
I have already tried repositioning the buttons using JavaScript and CSS, but since they are rendered inside a secure Stripe with a shadow-root, they cannot be moved manually.
Please consider adding an official setting or hook (for example, wcpay_payment_request_button_location) to allow developers to reposition these buttons.
This would make it easier to integrate WooPayments with modern one-page checkout layouts and improve usability.

No one is going to see them or use them at the top of the page. People flow through a page as they expect a site to work which is payment button below the order summary. What are they going to do, scroll down to make sure their order is correct and then scroll back up to click Apple Pay (if they even noticed it!) or click Place Order below the summary? It’s useless at the top which is why I have never activated them, but maybe this is deliberate because it would take commissions away from WooPayments? In that regard it makes total sense to be hardly usable by default. What makes the most sense is to have them in the radio button options. We have a PayPal radio button, Square radio button and WooPayments radio button so that is where Apple and Google Pay should be, too. Thank you.
Yes Please! The apple pay and the googlepay and the amazon pay buttons should be below the order summary and abo above the Checkout button.
