Currently the sale end date is required or set to the current date if it does not exist. This causes an issue because either the sale is only set for the current day or it does not run at all because the start date is in the future, but the end date is a past date (ie. today). If the sale end date field was allowed to be empty/blank, then it is easier for my team to manage prices as well. At the moment, sometimes for some products the sale prices mysteriously disappear because of this.
