Problem:
The future of commerce involves “Agent-to-Agent” (A2A) transactions, where a buyer’s AI agent negotiates and purchases directly from a seller’s AI agent. WooCommerce currently lacks the protocol support (specifically the A2A Protocol and AP2/Agent Payments Protocol) to handle these autonomous negotiations and authorized agent payments.

Solution:
Please implement support for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol and Agent Payments Protocol (AP2).
This would enable:

Automated Negotiation: My store’s agent can automatically negotiate bulk prices with a buyer’s agent based on my pre-set rules.

Agent Payments: Secure acceptance of payments authorized by AI agents (using “Intent Mandates” and “Cart Mandates”) without requiring a human checkout flow.

Why this matters:
This prepares WooCommerce for the “Machine Economy” where B2B and complex B2C transactions happen autonomously. Without this, we cannot serve customers who delegate shopping to their AI assistants.
