WooCommerce 10.5 release

What’s in this release

Analytics that scale with your business. WooCommerce now processes order data for reports in batches every 12 hours rather than one-by-one, eliminating slowdowns and database backlogs that high-volume stores experienced. Reports can also be manually refreshed at any time.

Clearer multi-package shipping at checkout. When an order ships in multiple packages — common for subscriptions or split shipments — customers now see product thumbnails and visually distinct containers at checkout, making it clear what’s shipping where.

Admin dashboard loads faster. The Recent Reviews widget loads faster, and unnecessary scripts no longer run on admin pages. Day-to-day store management is noticeably more responsive.

Better product URLs for SEO. Product links that include categories now use the most specific category rather than the broadest parent, giving search engines clearer signals about your products and creating more descriptive URLs.

Variable products — safer Add to Cart. On slower connections, the Add to Cart button on variable products now stays disabled until all options have fully loaded, preventing orders from being placed before a variation is selected.

Improved plugin compatibility. WooCommerce styling no longer overrides other plugins’ dropdown menus in the admin.

Legacy order data displays correctly. Older or migrated orders that stored tax information in non-standard formats now display correctly in the admin, resolving errors and blank fields when viewing historical orders.
