What’s in this release
WooPayments now provides step-by-step guidance on exactly what evidence to submit when you receive a chargeback, tailored to the type of product you sold and the reason for the dispute.
WooPayments now recognizes the product type and surfaces the most relevant evidence fields for that type, whether you sell physical goods, digital downloads, services, bookings, or event tickets.
Selling a physical product that wasn’t received? You’ll see prompts for tracking numbers, carrier details, and proof of delivery. Responding to a fraud claim on a digital product? You’ll see prompts for download logs, IP addresses, and access timestamps.
The updated dispute flow also includes a simplified Visa compliance process, the ability to upload proof of delivery directly, partial refund options for lost disputes, and transparent network cost information to help you make informed decisions about whether to respond.
Update to WooPayments 10.6.0 to get smarter dispute evidence guidance.
