Option for customers to add a backup payment method to account (and subscription)

Option for customers to add a backup payment method to account (and subscription). When a payment fails, e.g., due to insufficient funds, this customer-selected/customer-confirmed payment method could then automatically be used for another payment attempt immediately after the initial failed payment attempt. I have also submitted this as a feature request for the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin (https://woocommerce.com/feature-request/option-for-customers-to-add-a-backup-payment-method-to-account-and-subscription/) as I’m unsure whether this would be handled by WCS or by the individual payment gateways.
