WooCommerce

Storefront is the official WooCommerce theme and does a great job of integrating with WooCommerce settings and features out of the box, but it is based on the classic theme framework. As WordPress moves toward Full Site Editing and Gutenberg block themes, there is no official Automattic/WooCommerce equivalent for merchants who are just starting out. A default, official block theme built with the same deep WooCommerce integration as Storefront would give new store owners a modern, flexible starting point without having to rely on third-party themes.
