Hello,
We would like to request a global setting to automatically generate and send customers a discount coupon for their next purchase after an order reaches the “Completed” status.
Currently, we can configure coupon generation at the individual product level. However, managing this across a large catalogue requires configuring products separately. A central, store-wide rule would make this much easier.
The global rule should allow us to:
Apply coupon generation to all orders or restrict eligibility by specific products and categories, with inclusion and exclusion options.
Choose whether the qualifying product must be purchased on its own or whether its presence in the cart is sufficient, even when other products are included.
Generate one coupon per qualifying completed order, rather than a separate coupon for each eligible item.
Use the existing coupon settings to define the discount, expiry date and restrictions for the next purchase.
For example: after a customer completes an order containing a product from a selected category, automatically send them a 10% discount coupon for their next order.
Smart Coupons already provides coupon generation and restriction functionality. Our request is to make these capabilities available through a dedicated global rule, without requiring coupon assignments on individual products.
This would help merchants run automated repeat-purchase campaigns and manage them centrally.
Thank you for considering this feature!
