Customs fees now apply to recurring subscription totals and renewal orders, not only the first order in a subscription.
If you ship subscription products internationally, the customs fee was missing from the recurring total at checkout and from every renewal order it created. Shoppers paid it once, on the initial order, and no renewal after that carried it. With 1.3.6 the fee appears in the recurring total at checkout, on the subscription itself, and on renewal orders, using the customs rules you already have. Subscriptions created before this update keep their existing lines, so their renewals still won’t carry a fee unless you add one.
This release also picks up a change from 1.3.5: you can now choose the EU as a rule destination or origin in the rule editor. One rule covers all 27 member countries, so a store shipping into or out of Europe no longer needs 27 near-identical rules to maintain.
How to get it
Update to Customs Fees for WooCommerce 1.3.6. The subscription fee applies automatically to new subscriptions based on your existing rules, with no setup required. To use the EU option, go to your customs rules and select EU as the destination or origin.
