Currently the merchant feed is by default all products in the store. It’s possible to disable product sync on a one-by-one basis and in bulk by export/edit/import. What would be useful would be to nominate categories of products that should be excluded from the feed.
This would be of benefit in at least these ways:
1. Quick and easy to remove products from the feed.
2. Reduced ongoing maintenance when new products are added to the excluded categories.

Hi there,
We recently consolidated a few related requests into this one. In doing so, we noted some additional use cases worth capturing:
– Rental businesses that want to exclude non-purchasable products (e.g. equipment available for rent only) while still syncing consumable/purchasable items.
– Stores with product types Google doesn’t support (e.g. ebooks, digital goods) that need a simple per-product toggle to prevent unsupported items from being synced.
We’ve noted these for the team when reviewing this request.
