Affiliate For WooCommerce

The ability to auto assign an affiliate status to a specific user role is quite useful. This feature allows a customer to purchase a product and automatically become an affiliate.

The problem I am encountering is:
– If a customer uses an affiliate referral link
– then purchases a product
– they become an affiliate as they should
but this same customer/new affiliate does not appear as a child affiliate under the parent affiliates profile.

I know the parent/child relationship is only set after someone registers to be an affiliate, but this defeats the purpose of the ability to automatically set user roles to affiliate.

Is there any way I can have a child affiliates auto assigned under their parent affiliate after the’ve purchased something with the relevant parent affiliate referral link?
