Gift Cards for WooCommerce

It would just be awesome if buyers of gift cards who buy the cards for themselves (as some kind of store credit) would find their credit automatically redeemed in the account, without having to copy/paste the code into a field in their account or during checkout. Perhaps, this could be done as an option to be activated by the buyer of a gift card in the checkout-process, like “Would you like your gift card to be credited to your user account immediately”?
