In our WooCommerce store, we use the USPS Shipping Method plugin. We have added box sizes in the USPS setting for the packaging we normally ship in. We have periodic issues when we have added packaging that are Large Envelope sized. For example, I added a “box” that mimics the size of a Large First Class Envelope since we have one product that needs to fit in it. This product typically gets packed in this envelope by the Box Packer just fine. A problem that is created by the Large Envelope “packaging” is that sometimes the Box Packer packs other products in this envelope that we typically pack in literal cardboard boxes. We need specific products to be shipped in specific packing. For example, a small book (6.75 x 4.25 x 0.56) is typically packed into a 9 x 6 x 2 box. Since adding the Large Envelope packaging, the store is now trying to pack this book into the Large Envelope which we don’t want. This has been causes us rate calculation issues recently. Please allow us to specify specific products to fit into specific packaging (Large Envelopes or specifically sized boxes). It needs to be able to factor in that multiple items may be packed into one package. We don’t want individual items to be split into individual packages if the customer buys multiple items in one order. Thank you.
