Totally agree, being able to book odd days in the same block ie Monday, Wednesday, Friday would be very useful. Is this likely to come about at any point?
The explanation can be improved because the idea description is a little bit vague. I think you mean scenarios like this; At a bike rental store a customer wants to rent a bike for Monday an Wednesday. With the current calendar the user needs to make two separate bookings. With the possibility to select single days in the calendar as well as ranges(as today) this would make this possible.
