It would be nice to be able to hide the Template tab from store managers and admins totally – it really takes over the UI of the new product page in an aggressive way.
My preference would be hidden by default with an option to turn on, but bare minimum we should be able to turn off the template suggestions tab on the New Product screen in a global setting somewhere.
It shows up also in the following circumstances:
Privately Published products that we never plan on publishing. Possibly in other situations where the edit screen is no longer “new”.
New Product screen when you have product types other than Bookable Product selected.

I am operating a multi-vendor store and ideally would like to provide my own template(s) instead of these in the Template tab. Either way I would like to be able to either hide or switch off the default templates.
I completely agree that they take over the UI in an aggressive way, which is particularly frustrating when they aren’t relevant or useful to my bookings operations!
