Excellent idea, more people should get behind this. It’s very common for a rolling 1-month subscription to be more expensive than a minimum 12 month contract for example.
There is a similar feature request which also requests the ability to add an early termination charge. These two should be combined as they are extremely similar and would go hand in hand.
Yes please add this option. Do not most subscriptions in the real world have a construct like this? You give the client a good deal because they commit for a certain period. But after that periode you do not want to bother them with administration. You just continue the deal…

Please add this functionality. Term contracts are the standard in our industry and we need a way to manage them automatically.

I am quite dumbfounded that this does not exist and the user can cancel at ANY TIME – which subscription in the real world works like this? Not many…
