PayNow is a Singapore based payment method that allows customers to make a payment using their preferred app from participating banks and participating non-bank financial institutions.
Customers see a QR code when checking out with PayNow. They complete the payment by scanning it using a participating app. You receive confirmation from Stripe instantly when they complete the payment.

Stripe already has SG PayNow, but takes commissions for each order. In exchange, it will automatically update your order to “processing” when it detects that payment is made. But if you want to skip that transaction fee, there are other plugins that will work alongside stripe. The tradeoff is that you need to rely on notification from your bank to know whether the order has been paid, and then manually update your order status. Look for sgpaynowqr for example of this.
