    Hey everyone,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on how you would like to see the ‘File Upload’ add-on work!

Even though this is a popular request, we do not have any plans for allowing multiple files to be uploaded in a single ‘File Upload’ add-on.

Right now, it is only possible to upload a single file per ‘File Upload’ add-on and this is the desired behavior for many cases, as it allows merchants to control how many files shoppers upload per product.

As a workaround for letting customers upload multiple files, when you do not have a limit on how many files customers can upload, I recommend instructing them to compress all files in a single zip file and then uploading the zip file instead. This instruction can be added as the add-on’s description. This is a popular flow in many forms around the web that require users to upload multiple files.

I will leave this feature request as open for now, but I wanted to give everyone an update on what we are thinking about this! 🙂

The File Uploads Addon for WooCommerce Pro allows to upload multiple files from the product page: https://imaginate-solutions.com/downloads/woocommerce-addon-uploads/

The WooCommerce Product Add-Ons Ultimate plugin allows you to upload multiple files and has the option of a slick AJAX interface too: https://pluginrepublic.com/wordpress-plugins/woocommerce-product-add-ons-ultimate/.

This is already possible using another plugin. The file upload add-on of https://www.studiowombat.com/plugin/advanced-product-fields-for-woocommerce/ lets you choose if you want to allow one or multiple files.

with the woocommerce addon pro package that allows multiple file uploads, what is the limitation on uploads? i have a client who wants customers to upload up to 25 images for specialised prints. thanks

The File Upload add-on type in https://barn2.com/wordpress-plugins/woocommerce-product-options/ lets you choose how many files can be uploaded, so you can use it to allow multiple files or individual files.

That would be a good feature but does this make site speed slow or not.
Will be adding woocommerce on elk moose site to sell digital and physical products. Here is this blog

Oh look, another feature I need and another one that’s been requested for 6 YEARS!! WooCommerce, the kings of “don’t give a ****”

  9. Nice One! says:

‘I don’t think the developers really give a **** about our feature requests!

    +1 for multiple file uploads.

  10. KaterBlue Marine Services says:

Yes, this is really required. Why would a premium plugin like this have such a restriction? How much more money do these woocommerce guys want? I already bought this add-on and figure out that the file upload does not allow multiple selections of files to upload. What a stressful situation is this? How the **** did they miss such a feature on a premium plugin? This is so annoying. I want to ask for full refund. I would rather use other plugins which allows this with a price that is worth of value.

This would be a great improvement – give a far better customer experience.

    Thanks

I would love for this to be built in. Votes from me!

Any movement on this? This’d be amazing. I’d rather not have to install something else like Gravity Forms and their Add Ons extension.

I would like to add my support for this feature also.

  15. anonymous says:

    ‘+1

  16. anonymous says:

    definitely +1

  17. anonymous says:

yes i would also like to request to add this multiple upload feature on product addons plugin

  18. Susan Black says:

Really need the ability to either allow the upload to handle multiple files, or allow for multiple file upload addons on a single page (12 images).
