Product Add-Ons for WooCommerce

by  Woo
Offer add-ons like gift wrapping, special messages or other special options for your products.

Product Add on’s Price added to Checkout Payment/Deposit e.g Deposit = $300 and Product add on = $194 Total to be Charged = $494

Hi There,

We have an idea that you may have come across previously but at present we have not found a solution so far.

So we are using Woo Commerce Product Add-ons which is great as it lets us add the correct amount of additional product add ons to our products.

However we also have our main products set up on deposit basis of $300 per person and any additional product add-ons such as insurance etc are not being added to the intial deposit.

Our idea would be to allow for when are clients are paying the intial deposit that they also pay for the additional add-ons etc see below example:-

Product price per person = $3000.00
Deposit per per person= $300
Insurance add on per person = $194
Total to be Charged = Deposit ($300) and Insurance ($194) = $494.00

This would benefit the Woo Commerce Deposits Plugin and also any 3rd party Pluggins such as Woo Commerce Deposits – Partial Payments (which we are using).

Have you come across an issue you like this before or is there some way to add to the php code for the product add-ons plugin to be added to the total charged based on using payment plans or deposits.

Thanks

    Hey there,

Thank you for getting in touch!

I definitely see how some stores would benefit from an integration between Product Add-Ons and a Deposits plugin. However, since we haven’t received any more requests about this since you first published this request, we don’t plan to explore this integration in the foreseeable future.
