WooCommerce

Apparently, the newest version of WooCommerce has removed the ability to save an order w/o specifying any email notifications being sent. I use this “feature” to save draft orders for customers that I invoice monthly and update the work I’ve done in the “Customer Notes” for the order.

Using the “Draft” order status is not a solution as those are removed on a daily basis (for reasons unknown to me…).

I understand that many inexperienced WooCommerce users likely stored orders without bothering to select an email notification to be sent to the customer and are then frustrated as to why no email notification was sent. However, I can’t be the only WooCommerce user that needs a true “draft” order implementation such that I can document ongoing work and then send out the order when that work is completed.
