WooCommerce Bookings

At the moment, month-view is default and can’t be changed.

The customer will thus always see the entire current month in the calendar on the booking page. He/she must first choose a date, then in one dropdown pick start-time and in another dropdown pick end-time for the booking.

For many bookable products the booking might take place in very near future – such as tutoring sessions within a day or two. For such cases this is a cumbersome way to make a booking with more clicks than necessary.

It would be much smarter if the calender could be toggled to show a week-view instead. Showing the next five or seven days or with the full seven-day week, starting from Monday or Sunday. With the coloumns showing the hours of the day and labeled “Monday”, “Tuesday” etc.

All the customer would have to do would then be to click in the calendar at a start-time and then choose end-time in a dropdown.

In summary: I suggest a feature added to the already not-too-cheap premium WooCommerce Bookings plugin that allows for toggling between month-view and week-view for the booking page calendar.
