Weight Settings

Hello,

I’m currently setting up my WordPress site. I noticed that I’m only asked for the product’s weight. This is convenient if customers place a single-item order, but if they order multiple products, they’ll have to pay for multiple shipping rates even though there will only be one package. I was wondering if it would be possible to set up a field somewhere to enter the average weight and dimensions of the empty shipping box so that this weight can be added to the total weight of the various products.
