WooCommerce Bookings – Please add Time Zone Conversion
I consult with clients all over the country (and even worldwide.) I set up my schedule in my time zone (obviously!) but it would be incredibly helpful if the available times shown to my clients are in THEIR time zones. So many coaches/consultants work globally these days – and asking people to do time zone conversion themselves definitely results in missed appointments. This would be such a huge benefit!

Howdy folks! I’m not currently rockin’ the Booking Plugin on my site, but I was browsing github the other day and came across something. Can someone put this on their site running Bookings and post back here their results after activating? Thanks!

It apparently uses the Timezone Detect js script to get the users current time zone, but…. {{ and this is where my learning curve takes a brief halt }}, it doesn’t look like there are filters to manipulate WooCommerce’s Bookings.
Again, post back here with your results. If this doesn’t work, I [learning_curve] think [/learning_curve] this might be a starting point for a solution to converting time! 🙂

Any word on when this will be available? Our clients book appointments from around the world and this looks like the best tool…except for the timezone issue. I found another tool that does offer this capability, but I would much rather purchase WooCommerce Bookings.
This is what I am doing. It is time consuming but for now it is working. To every listing I am adding a local clock from here http://www.timeanddate.com/clocks/free.html
This way the clock is always up to date and you can also add a link to time zone converter http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

Absolutely! This is a must for this plugin.
We’ve been using it in since the start of the year and so far this is THE BIGGEST issue for customers in different time zones.
Before all else you should prioritize adding at least basic Time Zone functionality into this plugin. In fact, I’d gladly pay to have this added, if that is what it would take.
I can’t believe Time Zone Conversion is not part of woocommerce Bookings. Other booking plugins have this feature and with a global economy and clients all over the world. This just might be the deal breaker for me to use WooCommerce Bookings. 🙁

I cannot believe this does not work out of the box. Woo is a multinational company that only allows local timezone booking. Why is it even WPML ready when a multilingual site using WooCommerce bookings is a nonsense…. schoolboy error.
Any progress on this? Does anyone know how to manage it?

This should be a basic feature. In the global world we live today i cant understand why this plugin is not scalable. This is no sense. I have a proyect which needs multiple timezones. And know i have to to do it only in a part of my country. Becouse some parts has other time zone. How can i explain to my customers that depending of the city they live can or not register in my web because i can offer them my services.
