Extend the system to include European Economic Area
Hi, Now that Norway are requiring VAT registration for small sellers exporting to Norway it would be good if the plugin authors could extend support beyond VIES and the EU to include the wider European Economic Area.

Support for Norway
We are desperately missing support for Norway and Norwegian VAT numbers. Such that Norwegian consumers can buy with Norwegian VAT (VOEC scheme) while Norwegian businesses can buy without VAT. Just like the EU countries. You made this for UK. We need the exact same for Norway. Hoping for response.

Support for Norway
Support for entering Norwegian VAT numbers to deduct VAT. We charge Norwegian consumers VAT via VOEC scheme. But we need to sell to Norwegian business customers WITHOUT VAT. So it would be great if we can use your plugin to validate Norwegian VAT numbers and remove VAT if validated.

Add a text snippet at the order confirmation: “Reverse charge, intra-Community supply of goods”
Add a text snippet at the order confirmation: “Reverse charge, intra-Community supply of goods” That text must be there by law and if it´s there already at the order confirmation we do not have to issu a separate document for that.

The code to validate the number is not present on the order admin page, only on the checkout page.
The code to validate the number is not present on the order admin page, only on the checkout page. You should add a code to validate the VAT number on the backend (order admin page). Because some orders are created on the backend and not in the frontend

When WooCommerce Subscriptions is used in combination with EU VAT Number, the VAT is checked on VIES only during the first order. During the successive automatic renewals the VAT is NOT checked. If in the meantime the customer VAT becomes invalid (for example, the company was closed or the VAT changed without informing us) the […]

Visual validation message
I like to have a visual validation for the customer. Could be as simple as adding a class to the field when is validated or not validated such as: validation-true or validation-false.

Pre-fill EU VAT number if known when manually entering an order as store manager
As store manager, I can create a new order on behalf of an existing customer (for example after agreeing the purchase over the phone). After I select the right customer in WooCommerce -> Orders -> new screen in the WordPress backend, first I select the right customer. Then I click the Load billing address link. […]

Add hooks to the plugin / Store the VAT result as session
We had a request from a client to remove shipping when a valid VAT number is entered. We had to customise the plugin because: 1. There are no hooks available. 2. The VAT number and result of the VAT check are not stored in a session – or accessible before the checkout is complete, except […]
