Being April 1st you’ve probably already had a few pranks played on you today.
Here at Woo we are scattered all around the world so unfortunately we can’t cover each others computers with post-it notes, or set Adii’s iPhone in jelly, or move ALL the office furniture into Magnus’s office. Sigh…
Instead we are going to try prank you. Or are we…

Really want to get in on this, although your demos aren’t working in both FF and IE, and I like to « try before I buy ».

Hey, I am a new customer to WooThemes, and I just purchased the « 4-for-1 April Fools » promo they are running today and tomorrow.
I just paid $150 (because I wanted the Developer’s license), but you can get the deal for $70 = 4 Themes, and yes, right after the purchase (PayPal through 2Checkout), I received an email confirmation with info to get log in to get my Themes.
I logged in, and could see there in their system, that it shows the links to download all 4 Themes I chose during the ordering process (and it says « lifetime » access to the themes I purchased).
The main theme I chose says $150 and the other 3 say « $0.00 » each. The total I was charged is $150 – nothing more. They are not fooling around.
I downloaded all 4 Themes + the .PSD for all 4 (Developers License comes with that), and I actually already tested 1 in a live site I will be developing these days (Busy Bee Theme) and it works fine.it’s not aa scam. These people are serious and they were very nice to do such a good offer. Their themes are quality. I am a XHTML, CSS and PHP and WordPress codex programmer and I make my own Themes from scratch – hand-coded, and I am telling you that these are quality themes
WooThemes is a serious site, with traffic of almost half million visitors per month.

I came here today to buy a theme I had already seen a week ago, and I tested the demos again. They all worked. That was at around 3:00 PM. When I was ready to buy, they seem to have had a problem in their server or programming, and their entire site went down for about 2 hours. Maybe they were doing some updates! So I just left the page open, and refreshed every half hour, while I worked on other stuff in my PC. At about 5:30 PM, I finally saw the site working and I ordered – and got my 4 Themes like the promise in the 4-for-1 promo. The Demos section is still down right now, but I’m sure they will have it back running soon. Anyways, earlier today, I was able to test more than 10 themes and got to test the « finalist 4 » I chose in the end.
I just uploaded an activated one of their themes, and you can actually see it here live on a website I am starting to develop now: PaintballCatalog.net
You may want to give them a second chance. Everything is good on my end.

@Toonces – The club love is on its way! 🙂 We’re rebuilding our backend, which means extra options in terms of what we can offer club subscribers (whereas we are limited in doing this now). Keep the faith! 🙂

I’d like to take Woo up on this wonderful super-duper excellent offer – BUT the demo pages are not working so I don’t know what I’m choosing. And this is my first time here so don’t know what I would be getting at all. Maybe they will get the pages up in the next 10 minutes before I call it a night.
The demo pages continue to be down. I hope you guys extend the offer for an extra day for those of us who are interested.

Or server did have a problem last night with the Apache server, but our host has been working on restoring it and assures us it won’t happen again.
Our demo switcher is currently offline, but we are working on fixing it. In the meantime you can view all demos directly by appending the theme name without spaces e.g.

@Toonces – We continually give our subscribers love… we have given you 3 themes each month the last two months, which is more than the 1 per month the subscription terms state 🙂

Hi, your demo is not back up yet.
Can you just have the offer for when the servers are back up + 1 day or just run it to the end of Sunday?
With the demo you can check the diff colors and so forth. I know what I’ll buy with a couple of the 4, but I need to have a good look around at the remaining options.

I had this site open all week, because I wanted my partners to look at the demos 1st. (we’re comparing two here, to two on another website) I went out of town for 4 days, came back today, and missed this by what? 5 hours?
Bummer. Howabout some flexibility? Leave it go all week. (they liked the other ones better, but this would sway them, lol)
