A couple of weeks ago we celebrated 100,000 downloads of WooCommerce and promised to maintain the momentum we’ve generated in our first 6 months. On monday we welcomed Coen to the Labs and while we’ve been helping him learn the ropes this week, we’re still excited to deliver 4 new extensions taking us very close to a milestone 100 total!
This week we have 2 new payment gateways, a Brazilian shipping method and an exciting enhancement to our layered navigation widget.
Merchant Warrior
↑ Torna in cimaThis extension allows you to use Merchant Warrior (transparent redirect API) as a credit card processor.
You can process Visa and Mastercard in AUD and NZD by default, and can optionally accept other currencies and American Express, Diners Club and JCB after further approval.
Developed by Tyson Armstrong.
SecurePay DP
↑ Torna in cimaThis extension allows you to use SecurePay (direct post mechanism) as a credit card processor.
You can process Visa and Mastercard by default, and can optionally accept American Express, Diners Club and JCB after activation from SecurePay.
Developed by Tyson Armstrong.
Correios
↑ Torna in cimaThis extension integrates WooCommerce with the Brazilian shipping company Correios allowing you to offer a wide range of shipping options to your customers based on weight, location and product dimensions.
Developed by John-Henrique.
Ajax Layered Navigation
↑ Torna in cimaThe ajax-enabled, layered navigation extension for WooCommerce provides a richer user-experience for your customer and is particularly well-suited for stores that have a lot of variable products or products with a number of attributes.
Not only does the layered navigation use ajax calls to reload content on the page, but the extension also provides a number of additional user-interface elements for the layered navigation, such as color swatches, size selectors and checkboxes. These useful options help you create a more meaningful, interactive experience for your user.

Nice job fellas! I just started working with WooCommerce for a clients site and I must say it’s AWESOME! Very easy to use, detailed support, and so many useful extensions. Keep up the good work WOO!
Really appreciate it Chris, the guys are working very hard deep down in WooLabs. 🙂
Dang… I am back a day I thought today was Wednesday and I still had a few hours left to finish up some stuff before the drop. BUT that means I’ve now got 6 days instead of 6 hours until the next drop! 🙂
I’ll be munching on the ajax nav, yum yum yum
The layered Ajax nav seems ok, but one issue is backing up from a selection. Say a customer selects red, they made a mistake, now they want orange. Now what? they have to refresh the page? If the images for the selectors stayed on the screen, then it would solve that issue. No need to hide it from view.
To back out of a selection, you just need to click the selector again. So if someone selects red and then changes their mind and wants orange, they just have to click red again to remove the red selector.
If you’d like all of the selectors to stay visible on the screen make sure that the query type is set to “or”. The color attribute on the demo uses an “or” query type and when you select one color, the other color options remain.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi guys, are you testing your themes and plugins on WordPress 3.4 Beta 1 ?
For sure, but officially we only support final versions.
Know you have the extension for Aweber and MailChimp. Here’s hoping for iContact. 🙂
Looking very nice guys. Having a custom commerce solution is great for photographers. Keep up the nice work!
Guys,
Great job on all the updates. I’ve just finished my first project using Woocommerce and I have to say: “Wow!” Things worked so smoothly and was an overall better experience adn things just made sense. I’ve setup a few projects using Shopp and Woocommerce definitely blew those experiences out of the water.
To be hones I first time hear about Merchant Warrior but it sounds very promising.
WooThemes again has done great homework to make themes and plugins even better! 🙂
I just uploaded CCAvenue payment gateway plugin on WordPress plugin browser, Might be helpful for Indian Merchants.
You can download it from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ccavenue-payment-gateway-woocommerce/
I would like the Ajax Layered Navigation, but not as navigation – as product variation options. Mainly the color option would be helpful as a variation, but I’d also like to be able to upload small thumbnails of designs that people could click on (like the colors).
