Stay Fashionable when selling online

To create something exceptional, your mindset must be relentlessly focused on the smallest detail.

When setting out on your adventure to sell online, you may initially feel like a small fish in an infinitely large pond. With enterprise-level online retailers making up a large portion of the market, the primary challenge for any small business retailer is to stand out.

One way to stand out is to position yourself as a large brand, aiming to compete alongside the enterprise-level retailers. This amounts to “fake it ’til you make it”, which is a concept proven successful many times over.

Today’s release is one we are exceptionally excited to share with you all.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Wooniverse, please give a warm welcome to Fashionable, a timeless online store theme for WordPress.

Set your brand apart

Fashionable exists as a timeless portal to showcasing your product catalog. Including a wide variety of homepage product showcase options, as well as a large header image area, Fashionable helps to unite your brand identity and your product line. With it’s integration with our free WooCommerce plugin, Fashionable helps you to maximise your conversions by assisting your customers in making their purchase via your online store.

Powered by Canvas

Fashionable is a child theme for our flagship WordPress theme, Canvas. Thus, the full power and flexibility of Canvas comes standard when combining Fashionable and Canvas. What a powerful combination!

A bit more about Fashionable

With the speed at which the internet moves our lives, what is popular today may become dated and unpopular within a matter of minutes. Developing a business which stands the test of time (and remains in fashion) is a key success metric for any business. One of our key aims when planning Fashionable was to develop a product which retains a clean and timeless look and feel, as trends wax and wane.

Careful attention has also been paid to the placement of the “add to cart” button as well as it’s design, the placement of your contact information in the top navigation bar and the positioning of your brand identity, to ensure your logo is front and centre when potential customers arrive at your online store.

Designed, and developed, by our very own Tiago Noronha, Fashionable is ready to be shaped and crafted as desired with a few small tweaks using a CSS plugin.

To illustrate the power of Fashionable, we’ve set up a demo website to showcase the theme and to show off just how easy it is to get up and running with next to no effort.

We look forward to seeing the online stores you all create using Fashionable, Canvas, WooCommerce and any number of our wonderful WooCommerce extensions and exciting free plugins.

Hey guys, love the new child theme. I have a project which I think this will work perfectly for. Is there a photoshop file for this child theme?

    Keep on killing it!

I couldn’t find anything about this when searching your support site, but every time I enable the fashionable theme, it breaks WordPress. I get the dreaded white page when attempting to visit the site and wp-admin won’t load either. I have to manually change the stylesheet to something else using PHPMyAdmin to get the site to work again. Any clue as to why this is happening? (P.S. – I have the latest Canvas theme installed along with WooCommerce, WooDojo, WooSlider, and the WooThemes Helper plugins.)

      Hi there,

Not sure what could be causing that, especially since no obvious errors are spit out by your site. Please do get in touch with our support team so we can help sort that out. –

        Ok, I’ve submitted a ticket – now we wait…

P.S. – You don’t have “Fashionable” as an option in the dropdown menu under the “Theme” list, so I just chose “Canvas”.
