Motiv is a WooCommerce block theme for activewear, fashion, and lifestyle stores. Large photography, expressive typography, and clear product layouts help you present a collection and tell the story behind it.
Start with a bold collection launch, an editorial split layout, a darker performance-led design, or the softer typography of Quiet Motion. Each homepage is a starting point you can adapt with your own images, copy, and products.
Use the supplied sections to introduce new arrivals, feature categories, share a campaign, and guide visitors toward your catalog. You can switch your assigned homepage without rebuilding your store.
Present your products with consistent cards, image galleries, clear prices, and variation choices. With the included Motiv Blocks plugin active, shoppers can open quick view to browse product images and options while staying in the collection.
Color swatches on supported product cards preview the image assigned to an available color variation. Alternate hover images give shoppers another view, and wishlist controls let them save products to revisit.
Show an outfit or campaign photograph and place hotspots over the featured pieces. Each hotspot opens the linked product in the Shop the look panel, connecting the editorial image to a product shoppers can explore.
Choose your own photo, link each hotspot to a published product, and adjust its position in the editor. Product details and available colors come from your catalog.
Motiv uses the WordPress block editor and Site Editor, so you can work with native editing tools. Adjust global styles, edit shared header and footer sections, and build pages from the supplied patterns and custom blocks. No separate page builder is required for the included layouts.
The supplied navigation supports a mega menu with category links and a featured product or category image. Responsive layouts adapt the storefront to smaller screens, and right-to-left layout support is included for RTL site languages.
Use the Journal templates to publish training notes, collection stories, or care guides. About, Contact, and policy page layouts help you carry your visual identity through the rest of the website.
Optional integrations support contact forms through Contact Form 7 and newsletter signup through MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress. Configure your own form and service account before accepting messages or subscriptions.
The optional Motiv Demo Import plugin adds four homepage layouts, a sample catalog, supporting pages, Journal articles, and images in your Media Library. Choose a starting homepage and then replace the sample content with your own.
WooCommerce continues to manage products, orders, coupons, shipping, payments, and customer accounts. Motiv supplies the storefront design; store settings and payment services remain under your control.
WooCommerce is needed for store functionality. Keep Motiv Blocks active when using its custom blocks, quick view, wishlist, or color previews. Demo import is optional and is best used on a fresh installation or a backed-up staging site.
Demo imagery and sample reviews illustrate the design. Replace sample content before launching your own store. A theme does not create payment accounts, shipping rules, or promotional coupons.

Create a variable product with a Color attribute and assign an image to its available variations. Clicking a swatch on a supported card previews the corresponding variation image. Product galleries supply the alternate hover image.
Yes. Motiv includes responsive storefront layouts and RTL styling. Translate interface text using the supplied translation templates and translate or edit saved page, menu, and product content separately.
The importer adds starter content and preserves existing content according to its import rules. It is not a reset or migration tool. Back up an existing site and use staging before importing. Replace demo products, policy text, and sample feedback before launch.
