Add Liftgate option for FedEx Freight when delivering to residential addresses
If delivering LTL Freight to a residential address FedEx charges an additional fee usually around $150. More often than not they will deliver the pallet using a truck with a liftgate, charging another $150 for that service. The current version of the FedEx extension will accurately calculate LTL residential rates but there is no mechanism to flag the order with the liftgate fee. To me this seems to be a rather large oversight and, for now at least, renders FedEx Freight useless for my websites. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
