It’ll be great if we could decide whether to redirect to the dedicated Stripe checkout Page instead of only being able to actually fetch credit card details on the WooCommerce checkout page.
This way the checkout would look a lot more trustworthy to customers when being redirected to stripes own checkout page than giving their credit card details to “some random” site.

A growing part of Stripe’s ecosystem operates on hosted Checkout Sessions specifically. Third-party Stripe apps that add capabilities at the payment page (surcharging, fee handling, compliance disclosures) attach to hosted sessions, not to Elements mounted on a merchant’s own page. While the plugin can only produce Elements sessions, WooCommerce merchants are cut off from that whole category of Stripe app.
So it would be great to have ability use hosted Stripe Checkout page for payments.
Is this feature still missing?
I think this feature request will become even more important with the arrival of PCI4, which, if I understand correctly, will now require a SAQ-A-EP report for iframed payment solutions.
This would be crucial for many of us!
Agreed.. I’m suprised this isn’t an option by default.
