At present, we send the customer a courtesy email, informing them if a product they are waiting for to come back into stock is deleted or discontinued. It would be good if this was automated. i.e. when deleting a product, it could either automatically send an email to the customer with basic information saying ‘x’ product is now deleted. Or it could prompt the user deleting the item if they want to customise the message, so that you could link to alternatives. This is what we do at present.
