MailPoet 5.30.0 adds ready-to-send automation emails and ties email campaigns to WooCommerce revenue

MailPoet 5.30.0 ships pre-written content for six common automations, records which campaign drove each order, and makes large subscriber lists faster to search and manage.

Launch automations without writing the emails first. Six automation templates now come with ready-to-send email content built in — post-purchase, birthday, win-back, inactive-customer win-back, review follow-up, and reviewer rewards. Open one and the email is already written and designed, so you can turn on an automation in minutes instead of starting from a blank canvas. Post-purchase emails can also recommend products based on what the customer actually bought — cross-sells of that item, or products that share its tag or category.

See which emails are driving sales. MailPoet now records the email campaign a customer came from and writes it to the WooCommerce order, feeding straight into WooCommerce revenue reporting. You can tie revenue back to specific campaigns instead of guessing which emails paid off. Attribution data is included in WordPress personal-data exports and erasure requests, so you stay GDPR-compliant.

This release also makes big lists easier to work with: subscriber search returns results faster by matching from the start of each field (add an asterisk * to match anywhere in a field), sorting by subscription date is quicker, and each user’s view and sort preferences now save across the Emails, Subscribers, and Lists pages. The Sign-up Confirmation email also now correctly applies your Styles sidebar settings for background, text color, and font.

How to get it

Update to MailPoet 5.30.0 from your WooCommerce dashboard — Plugins > Installed Plugins, or WooCommerce > Extensions. The ready-made automation content appears when you open one of the supported automations; the other improvements apply automatically once you’re on the latest version.
