Google for WooCommerce 3.9.0: Croatia support, multilingual markets, and marketing notifications

If you sell in more than one language, this release is the one to update for. Markets, currencies, and shipping feeds now work across your store’s languages, so a multi-lingual store sends Google the right product data for each locale instead of forcing everything through a single one.

Croatia joins the list of countries supported by Google Merchant Center, so stores based there — or selling there — can now list products and run campaigns. This release also adds marketing notifications, which surface recommendations and account alerts where you already manage your campaigns, rather than leaving you to check Google’s interface separately.

Three fixes are worth knowing about if you’ve hit them. Product sync no longer fails on stores where the current user has no personal WordPress.com connection. Google Ads performance reports no longer run out of memory and fail to load on larger accounts. And during onboarding, estimated shipping times no longer throw validation errors when you accept the prefilled defaults and continue.

How to get it

Update to Google for WooCommerce 3.9.0 from Plugins in your WordPress dashboard. Multilingual support and the fixes apply automatically. To review your markets and shipping settings for each language, go to Marketing > Google for WooCommerce > Settings.
