In this video we show you how to find your category and page ID’s, which is useful for setting theme options or for using when you want to exclude or include with wp_list_categories or wp_list_pages in the template files.
The video will show you that you can find your cat/page ID by hovering over the link on the manage categories/page page in WP admin. You will see the link in your browser statusbar like this:

Is it just me or is there no sound on theis movie?
There is no sound. Follow the mouse pointer, and repeat 🙂
No sound! (and, by the way, the written documentation for the themes is mediocre, and certainly doesn’t live up to the expectations derived from the sleek, professional visual appearance of the themes).
I didn’t understand what was going on. Please add sound to describe what’s happening.
I gotta say I’m also pretty surprised at how cryptic this no-sound demo is. I can’t understand what’s going on.
Sorry for no sound, but if you follow the mouse pointer and see it hovering over the page name, you will see that the status bar at the bottom is showing the page ID.
