We are required to report sales (gross + shipping) and taxes charged to our local tax authorities by tax code. The tax report and analytics are infuriating, in that we can get taxes by code but NOT total sales/shipping for each code. Meanwhile, if we run taxes by date on the report, we can get total sales/shipping, but we cannot see those by tax code. And in the analytics, if we click into each tax code, the total sales are shown at the top but EXCLUSIVE of total shipping.

So at the moment, the ONLY want to get the information we need (total sales + shipping by tax code) is to click into each order under each tax code in the analytics screen and look it up manually. Then, we can manually sync that up with an export of all orders in a given quarter by tagging each order with a tax code based on what we see in each order.

For now, we don’t have that many orders, but as our volumes increase, this will be an unacceptably manual process. It seems simply to add total sales and total shipping to the tax report by code. Can you please do that?
