In other languages the date format can be different. In German it looks very unusual the way how pre-orders plugin presents the date (although with German Text).
Therefore it would be great to be able to pass a parameter for the date format used.

That’s a fair point — localization matters beyond just translating the text; the date format itself needs to match regional conventions (e.g. DD.MM.YYYY vs MM/DD/YYYY) or it looks out of place even in an otherwise fully German UI.
Smart Pre-Order Manager for WooCommerce lets you customize the date format used for {availability_date}, so it can match the conventions of the language/locale you’re displaying it in.
