I’m currently running a sale using the Free Gift app. on orders over $100 I set the rule to add a manual gift for a product with six variants. Currently, no matter which variant the customer selects, it will always add to cart the highest item on the list that is in stock.
I have managed to temporarily bypass this issue by adding each variant as a separate gift option, but it caused us to erroneously ship out a bunch of orders with the wrong variant.
The last time we did a free gift using this method and a similar kind of product was before the most recent update. I would submit this using a bug report, but there seems to be no way to do that.
