When printing a shipping label, I’d like to default the “Notify the customer with shipment details” checkbox to being checked. In more cases than not, I would think shop owners would want their customers notified that their order had been shipped.

I agree with Christopher, Perhaps this could be an option to set under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > WooCommerce Shipping.
Although it may introduce complications, it’s better that at least one tracking # goes out than none at all!
I’m not sure why this checkbox even exists. The shipping information is included in the email that sends to customer when an order is marked as “Completed”. Is this not redundant? Or is this option there for those who opt not to notify customer of “completed” status change?
Yes, please. We ship many orders each week and having to click this checkbox each time adds up and becomes tedious.
