Stamps.com offer the ability to email shipping notifications to package recipients, so that they know the label has been created and provides the tracking number.
Having the Woocommerce Stamps.com Integration API have that as an option (and default) would be a major upgrade.

Agreed. The Shippo Integration and the WooCommerce Ship Plugin both offer the ability to send an automated email referencing the tracking number. In Shippo, you can even design the email. It feels like Woo Team did not invest as much time, energy, and effort into this plugin as they did their own in house Shipping plugin.
